This interesting fish naturally occur in temporal regions including the warm south.

The fish is transparent - resembling ice. The fish breeds in the coldest months of a year. Artificial release of eggs take place on ice - image below.

Why are they releasing the eggs artificially? Is it endangered or farmed for other reasons?
