Bartlett`s Anthias are a great addition to the SW aquarium. They are very colorful and reef safe. They are an excellent schooling fish and should be in at least a 55 gallon tank. There maximum size reaches between 3-4 inches. Anthias have the trait of being hermaphroditic. When a dominant male dies the largest female of the group will morph and take it`s place. There diet consist of a variety of Mysis, vitamin enriched brine, Flake and Frozen. Several places recommend feeding a few times a day even though I feed mine once a day with good results.

I have seen them at my LFS and they are a very nice fish indeed. But a little large for my tank.
