So after not being able to find the T-5's I needed for my Tang tank, I tried to order them on line from a shop out in Edmonton, they never responded to any of my e mails so I tried a place in Toronto .....just a bit more expensive.
So I ordered what the lights came with , Coralife 10,000K daylight tube and Coralife true Actinic 03 Blue tube........ Parcel was here when I go home and so cool well packed but alas.....the 10,000K were there. But then instead of the Actinic they had shipped a pair of Coralife T-5 Colourmax full spectrum tubes.........they are a pinkish colour, gives the tank a complete diffrent look then I had before....not a bad thing.....but I'll call and let them know about the mix up and see waht they want to do, but I'll think about keeping these. Oh well any way parts did come in for the hot tub motor so I'll go and work on that and get it ready for the winter..lol. take care.... |

......I'll have to take a couple of pics and compre the colours on the fish and see if they are the same....like the blue on the fins and such

Nice tank!! I like the lights but in my experience bluer light really makes those cichlids pop. Whatever you decide it is going to look great.

New lights certainly look a lot brighter not having the actinics, should make photo's much easier if you are doing any without the flash. Looks good
