I use 4 x 39w on my 3'. 2 Aqua Medic Reef Blue and 2 Aqua Medic Reef White and the results are OK with what I want to keep ATM.......... thumbsup.gif

I would go with the 4X 39 also. I would go with two super actinic and 2 50/50.

On my 180 litre tank, I had 4 x 54 watt tubes, two daylight, two actinic. Worked well for the low/medium light corals.
